A LOCK FOR A SLIDING SASH WINDOW Abstract A lock (10) to be mounted on the panel member (11) of a slidably mounted panel of a sliding window. The lock (10) is engaged with a frame member (12) of the 5 window, typically the frame member (12) would be vertically extending. The lock (10) includes a body (13) with a bar (14) engagable with a lip (15) of the member (12) to retain the window panel in the closed position.
