A PORTABLE BENDING TOOL 5 This invention relates in general to a hand operated tool for bending metal bars. The tool comprising: a longitudinally extending support means with a first end for engaging a work surface and an opposing second end for contact with a user; a metal bar engagement means adapted to receive the metal bar within and comprising a user end and a pivot end on the longitudinal axis of the 10 metal bar engagement means; a pivotal means for connecting the longitudinally extending support means and the metal bar engagement means with rotational freedom; and wherein to bend the metal bar to a desired angle the user rotates the metal bar engagement means around the pivot means while supporting themselves against the longitudinally extending support means. Figure 2 to accompany the abstract.
