The invention relates to joint in which a first joint part and a second joint part are connected so that they can rotate relative to each other, and comprising a drive device, in particular a spring drive, for supporting or carrying out the rotational movement. Said joint is characterized in that the drive device can be selectively switched on and off and/or that the supporting force of the drive device can be controlled. The invention also relates to, in particular, a food comminuting device comprising said type of joint.
