Multi-layered and functionally graded diamond composite sintered compact
A. functionally graded diamond composite sintered compact applicable to a drill bit, in which cBN grains whose hardness and heat expansion coefficient are proximate to 5 those of diamond are selected as the grains added to diamond grains, is provided. It includes: a body made of cemented carbide; a polycrystalline diamond sintered compact layer formed on the body ; and an intermediate layer formed between the body and the polvcrystalline diamond sintered compact layer, the intermediate layer consisting of 2 or more sub-intermediate layers, wherein the binder in the polycrystalline diamond sintered 10 compact layer is one selected from Co, Ni, Fe, and any alloy thereof, each of the sub-intermediate layers is formed by sintering a mixture made of diamond grains, cBN grains, and a metallic hinder, and the metallic binder included in the each of the sub-intermediate layers comprises: a first group component made of one selected from Co, Ni, Fe, and any alloy thereof, a second group component made of one selected from I5 Cr, V Mo. and any alloy thereof, and a third group component made of one selected from Al, Mg, and any alloy thereof. ---------------------
