Method and apparatus for repairing main and lateral pipes
A method and apparatus for repairing a pipe system including a main pipe (14) extending between a first and second manhole (10, 12) and one or more lateral pipes (16, 17) extending from the main pipe (14) is provided. Aspects of the invention include the use of a main liner member (26) having a plurality of lateral liner tubes (27, 28) in fluid connection and extending from the main liner member (26). The main liner member (26) is used to line the main pipe (14), while the multiple lateral liner tubes (27, 28) extend into the separate lateral pipes (16, 17) extending in various orientations from the main pipe (14). This method and apparatus provides for a single assembly to be able to line multiple pipes, which reduces time and cost for pipe repair.
