An improved blade for artificial turf wherein the cross-sectional profile is roughly M-shaped or W-shaped and comprises three curves and three inflection points, wherein the first curve is bow-shaped, the second curve is arch-shaped, and the third curve is bow-shaped and a mirror image of the first curve. The improved profile shape of the blades of the present invention ensure that the blades remain vertically extended for a longer period of time and are less likely to be damaged through impact by users.
