Abstract A void platform covering a gap in the flooring of a building under construction or 5 renovation. The platform comprises: - a support rail spanning said gap close to an edge of said gap, - a first panel spanning at least substantially the full width or length of the gap and supported at one end by said support rail, and - a second panel spanning at least substantially the full width or length of 10 the gap and supported at said one end by said support rail.
