-12 Abstract The invention relates to a holder (32) for a fire protection sleeve (10), having a mounting portion (34), a supporting portion (35) and a holding portion (36), characterized in that the holding portion (36) is provided with anchoring means (37), which can positively interlock with the cover (14) of a fire protection sleeve (10). The invention also relates to an assembly of such a holder (32) and a fire protection sleeve (10) comprising a strip (12) of an intumescent material, which is surrounded by a cover (14) at least on one flat side and a longitudinal edge, characterized in that the anchoring means (37) can dig into the cover in the region of the longitudinal edge.
