LOCKING DEVICE HAVING A LOCK BOLT ADJUSTING MECHANISM
A locking device having a lock bolt adjusting mechanism including a lock housing provided with a first side opening on a side wall of the lock housing, a first lock bolt provided within the lock housing, wherein the first lock bolt is extendable and retractable in the first side opening in a vertical direction; the lock bolt adjusting mechanism includes a shifting member and a sliding block provided within the lock housing, wherein the shifting member includes a pivot point and is rotatable using the pivot point as a fulcrum; the sliding block is provided at a rear end of the first lock bolt and is movable in a transverse direction wherein both shifting member and sliding block are vertically arranged. The shifting member further includes a first coupling point and a second coupling point; the pivot point, the first coupling point and the second coupling point are spaced from each other by a certain distance, and the distance between the second coupling point and the pivot point is larger than the distance between the first coupling point and the pivot point. When the sliding block is moved to a location corresponding to the first coupling point, the sliding block is detached from the second coupling point and displaced, and the shifting member is coupled to the sliding block at the first coupling point and forms a first driving cooperation with the sliding block. When the sliding block is moved to a location corresponding to the second coupling point, the sliding block has been detached from the location of the first coupling point, and the shifting member is coupled to the sliding block at the second coupling point and forms a second driving cooperation with the sliding block.
