A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
This is an invention to prevent the theft of motorbikes by immobilising both wheels. The main body (1) of the device is square metal tube with an eyelet welded into each end for locking purposes (2 & 3). Two 35 degree bends (4) and (5) form a centre section that extends outwards to allow space for the motorbike stand. This centre section is approximately one half of the length of the device leaving a quarter length to the outside of each of these bends. A semi circular loop (6) made from round metal tubing is attached to the main body (1) at bend (4) by a covered welded hinge (7). The other end of the loop has an eyelet (8) for locking purposes. When the loop (6) is closed, eyelet (8) aligns with eyelet (2) on the main body and the recommended padlock is then fitted. This is repeated on the other end of the device. ~t~CAZW-LAi j C ( io ) 0~~E' C-2) PALOCK4 F-TID 8o-l
