The invention relates to a mounting frame assembly for a vehicle camper, the mounting frame assembly including a mounting part and a supporting part. The mounting part is for attaching the mounting frame assembly to the vehicle. The supporting part is attachable to the mounting part, for support of the camper in the assembled state at a convenient height. In the assembled state the mounting frame assembly enables set-up, use and packing away of the camper at a substantially convenient height to the user. The invention also relates variants thereof, and to the mounting frame assembly and camper combined, and combined with a vehicle. The invention also relates to a method of use.
