A retaining wall panel has an upper and lower edge and sides, said panel including two outer skins of an environmentally resistant or hardy material between which are sandwiched, in a generally horizontal arrangement, layers of core material and reinforcing material which alternate in the direction of the upper edge to the lower edge of the panel, said reinforcing material extending along the whole width of the panel, and wherein each of said skins, said core material and said reinforcing material are bonded together by a bonding material or adhesive.
