Combination Collection Well/Septic Tank and Pump Well
A septic tank system suitable for use in a low pressure effluent distribution (LPED) system is provided which has a primary septic tank (10) for receiving sewerage waste; a secondary tank (12) comprising a combination collection well/septic tank and pump well; and a fluid line (11) connecting the primary septic tank (10) with the secondary tank (12) to allow effluent to flow from the primary septic tank to the secondary tank. The combination collection well/septic tank and pump well forming the secondary tank (12) has a tank body (42), a conduit (14) mounted within the tank body (42) and extending upwardly from the base (43) of the tank, a pump (19) within the conduit (14), and an outlet pipe (21) attached to the pump (19) and arranged to exit the tank (12). The tank body is configured to receive effluent fluid from the primary septic tank (10), and the conduit (14) is configured to receive a portion of the effluent fluid within the secondary tank (12) such that the fluid may be pumped by the pump (19) through the outlet pipe (21) out of the tank (12) to an LPED system. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. . . .. . . . . .. . . .. . .. . . .. . .. . . .
