Abstract There is provided a hook profile for a suspended ceiling grid system ceiling hook, the hook profile configured for hooking a T-bar in an improved manner in use, the hook profile having median and frontal plane orientational references, the frontal plane being perpendicular to the elongate axis of a T-bar when engaged by the ceiling hook in use and having: a stem originating from a hook engaging means; a distal bend extending from the stem; a hook extending from the distal bend, the hook having a hook terminus, wherein: the hook terminus reaches in towards the stem in the frontal plane; and the hook is angled with respect to the stem in the median plane.
