[Problem] The purpose of the invention is to provide an anchor pile that can be installed easily and can provide a stable resistance force in the ground, and an installation method for the same. [Solution] This anchor pile 1 has insertion holes 3 formed on the side face of a hollow pipe 2, and guides 5. The anchor pile 1 is driven into the ground with a resistance member 6 comprising a material that can be elastically deformed accommodated in the pipe 2. When the resistance member 6 is lifted in the vertical direction of the pipe 2 with auxiliary equipment 10 after the anchor pile 1 is driven into the ground, projections 9 on the resistance member 6 slide along the guides 5 and deform by expanding toward the insertion holes 3. The projections 9 of the resistance member 6 project into the ground from the insertion holes 3 and function as the underground resistance force of the anchor pile 1.
