Rolling door assembly without a polygon effect
The invention relates to a rolling door assembly (1), comprising a door leaf (2) consisting of door leaf elements, which are connected to each other in such a way that that the door leaf elements can pivot in relation to each other and which are each guided by means of rollers (23a, 23b) in lateral guides, wherein the lateral guides each have an end segment, in which the door leaf (2) is held in the closed position in order to close a door opening, and a storage segment, in which the door leaf (2) is held in the open position, and wherein the end segment and the storage segment are at an angle to each other and are connected to each other by means of a transition segment (42). The rolling door assembly (1) is characterized in that the transition segment (42) of each guide provides at least two guide lines, on which predetermined rollers roll, such that here the guide length between two rollers substantially corresponds to a spacing defined by a width of a door leaf element or to an integer multiple thereof. Thus, an improved rolling door assembly (1) is achieved, in the case of which the polygon effect is at least largely prevented and thereby higher motion speeds of the door leaf (2) are enabled while at the same time increased service life is achieved.
