The present invention is directed to a ceiling panel comprising an acoustical substrate comprising substrate fibers and having a first major substrate surface and a second major substrate surface opposite the first major substrate surface, a porous scrim comprising scrim fibers and having a first major scrim surface and a second major scrim surface opposite the first major scrim surface, and a dry-state adhesive adhering the first major substrate surface of the acoustical substrate to the second major scrim surface of the porous scrim, the dry-state adhesive comprising a gel-forming film-forming polymer.
