Abstract A gutter spacer and a method of installing a gutter spacer between the rear wall of a rainwater gutter and an upright surface of a building are disclosed. The gutter spacer includes a body portion for locating between the rear wall of the gutter and the upright surface of the building for maintaining a gap therebetween to allow water overflowing the rear wall of the gutter to pass between the gutter and the upright surface of the building, and means for catching an upper edge of the rear wall of the gutter to retain the spacer to the gutter. 40 43 4894 43 40 4 462 46 241 46 Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Fig. 3
