Flow meter assembly
An arrangement, for controlling and computing a flow rate, including a gate, through which fluid is flowable at the flow rate, and a measuring apparatus. The measuring apparatus includes acoustic transducers arranged upstream of the gate to transmit acoustic beams to traverse the fluid, and measure transit times of acoustic beams. The gate has a gate position. The gate position is variable to control the flow rate. The measuring apparatus is configured to compute the flow rate based on the transit times and on the gate position.
