Abstract A doorjamb assembly 10 for a door opening having a front face and first and second opposing sides, the doorjamb assembly comprising: a first frame section 20 having a first main portion 21 and a first wall attachment portion 22 extending in a generally perpendicular direction to the first main portion, the first wall attachment portion being attachable to the first side and the first main panel extending at least partly across the front face; a second frame section 30 having a second main portion 31 and a second wall attachment portion 32 extending in a generally perpendicular direction to the second main portion, the second wall attachment portion being attachable to the second side and the second main portion extending at least partly across the front face, the second frame section further comprising a raised strike section 35 extending from the second main portion, the strike section having a locking channel 62, a central joiner section 40 having a third main portion 41 and a locking formation 42, wherein when the locking formation is locked onto the locking channel, the third main portion forms a receiving slot 84 with the strike section, wherein the first main portion is at least partly received in the receiving slot in use. 21 79 73 62 72 32 84/41) 30 76 40 '42312 22 (a) 30 20 ,40 22 62, 42 20 (b) (c)
