A Track Guided Blind or Awning System
The present invention relates to a track guided blind or awning system including an awning fabric having a top edge mounted relative to a spring loaded roller for extension and retraction, a bottom edge associated with a bottom rail, and a pair of opposed side edges. The blind or awning system further including at least one side channel including a longitudinal internal cavity operable to receive at least a portion of at least one side edge of the awning fabric and a slot opening into the longitudinal internal cavity, the slot opening defined by at least one wall; and an elongate member mounted relative to the longitudinal internal cavity such that the at least one side edge of the awning fabric is retained within the longitudinal internal cavity relative to the elongate member, the elongate member being operable to guide the awning fabric during extension and retraction, wherein the elongate member is movable within the at least one side channel to tension the awning fabric during extension, retraction and when extended.
