The invention relates to a lightweight construction element, wherein the element has the shape of a spatially extending first wave, wherein the upper side of the element has at least one wave crest and the underside of the element has at least one wave trough, wherein the first wave propagates in the transverse or radial direction, and wherein the at least one wave crest and the at least one wave trough are present in the form of a second wave, and wherein the lightweight construction element has or consists of interconnected wood fibres and wood chips or interconnected wood fibres or interconnected wood chips.
