Bullet-resistant rolling door
The invention relates to a bullet-resistant rolling door (1), comprising a door leaf (2) constructed of door leaf elements (21) rotatably connected to each other. In the closed state of the rolling door (1), the door leaf defines a door leaf plane. The door leaf (2) can be moved back and forth between an open position and a closed position by means of a drive (5). The door leaf elements (21) each have a cavity (25) in the cross-section thereof, into which cavity an antiballistic insert (26) is inserted in such a way that the inserts (26) of adjacent door leaf elements (21) overlap in the door leaf plane in the closed state of the rolling door (1). The rolling door (1) is characterized in that at least one antiballistic defense strip (30, 31), which lies at an angle to the insert (26), is arranged in the cavity (25) of the door leaf element (21), said antiballistic defense strip covering a gap between the inserts (26) of adjacent door leaf elements (21) in the closed state of the rolling door (1). It is thereby achieved that the rolling door (1) not only has fast-running properties and the lowest possible weight but also provides protection against ballistic impact.
