The invention relates to an elongated support member (452) adapted to be connected to a wall portion or roof portion defining a space for housing an extendable or movable covering, wherein the support member is adapted for supporting a plate shaped cover (490) in a way that the cover projects from the support member so that it at least partly can conceal the space for the covering. The support member comprises a pivot means (409) for forming a pivot axis so that the cover may be pivoted between a non-connected state and a connected state in relation to the support member.
