FIRE DOOR AND DOORWAY FRAME
Disclosed are a fire door and doorway frame and a set comprising both door and doorway frame. The fire door (10) has a peripheral frame comprising top and bottom rails (12, 13) and two 5 upright stiles (15, 16) and a core (20) filling the space within the frame. The core is predominantly composed of a non-metallic fire resistant material particularly an expanded perlite panel. Two face panels (25) substantially completely covering the peripheral frame and the core, the face panels being composed of fire resistant material. The doorway frame is for fitting in a door opening of a building structure, the doorway frame having two upright legs (41), and a head 10 (42) extending between the tops of the legs. A door stop (43) is provided along the height of the legs and along the length of the head arranged so that a door within the doorway frame abuts against the door stop when the door is closed. The two upright legs, the head, and the door stop are all composed of a fire resistant non-metallic material, such as MGO board. 12,4 34___________35____________________,___ Fig.32
