- 7 Abstract An earth retention levee system is constructed from spaced apart facing parallel walls (1,2) of interlocking sheet piles. Each sheet pile has an outside face (5) and an inside face (4). The inside face (4) is formed with a spine (10) along a longitudinal extent 5 thereof. Each of the spines (10) is connected to an adjacent edge of geogrid (20). Each geogrid (20) links the parallel walls (1,2) and stabilises fill (21) disposed therebetween. 10521542_1 (GHMatters) P107244.AU.1 21/09/18 . J .... t lo.
