Pin and Loop precast concrete safety barrier
The invention may be better understood with reference to the illustrations of the critical parts of the assembly. The pin and loop assembly precast concrete barrier is made up of F-shaped concert body which appears as an inverted cone with flat end and broad base Fig 1. The loop is made by bending a reinforced steel bar at a 90 degree angle forming a loop at one end. Fig 2 The steel bar is cast into the concrete barrier allowing the loop to protrude out of the end of the concrete barrier body Fig 3. A barrier pin is used to secure the barriers together Fig 4.
