The present invention discloses a preparation process for porous silicon nitride ceramics, including the following steps: gel preparation, blank forming, blank drying, adhesive discharging of blank, and blank sintering. The preparation process for porous silicon nitride ceramics provided by the present invention is low in cost and simple. The porous silicon nitride ceramics prepared by adding carbon powder, a pore-making agent and oil-in-water emulsion have high porosity, uniform pores and good mechanical property.
