FLOOD BARRIER SYSTEM
A flood barrier system for protecting a structure from an inflow of flood water is disclosed having stackable stop-log panels deployable to form a temporary water barrier. The system comprises multiple vertical elements that engage the stop-log panels and multi-layer base plates at lower ends of the vertical elements. The multi-layer base plates have a structural plate and first and second base-plate gaskets. The first base-plate gasket is interposed between an upper surface of the structural plate and a bottom portion of the vertical element, and the second base plate gasket is mounted to a bottom surface of the structural plate to seal the base plate to the ground. The vertical elements have at least one vertical gasket mounted thereon, and lower portions of the vertical gasket/s are sealed to the base plates to resist the inflow of floodwater.
