CAPPING SYSTEM FOR ATTACHING CAPPING ELEMENTS TO STRUCTURES
A mounting clip for mounting a capping element to a first support member, the mounting capping element having an external facia to conceal at least part of the first support member and peripheral lips extending along opposite sides of the capping elements for engagement with the mounting clip, the mounting clip comprising a first mounting section configured for mounting to the first support member; a second mounting section configured for mounting to a second support member; a bridge section extending between the first and second mounting sections, the bridge section being elastically deformable to allow limited relative movement between the first and second mounting sections; and first and second retaining arms having first and second distal edges respectively, the first and second distal edges facing opposite directions and at least one of the first and second distal edges being resiliently displaceable relative to each other and resiliently displaceable relative to the first and second mounting sections respectively; wherein the first and second distal edges are configured for snap locking engagement with the peripheral lips on the capping element.
