ABSTRACr The metal extrusion 1 has a plurality of angled fins 2 as well as grip retainer areas 3 for placement of retainer fins 6. The metalextrusion has-a retainer area 4-whereby-the PVC composite retainer 5 locates. The PVC retainer 5 has a hardened outer casing with a softer mouldable inner face 9 which encases and moulds around inserted screen 12. This retainer strip also features elongated recessed channels 14 in which fasteners such as screws, rivets or the like can fasten the retainer to screen 12 without fear of coming into contact with the frame retainer area thereby creating electrolysis. Once assembled to this point the retainer and screen are inserted into the frame retainer area 4 whereby frame fins 2 interact with retainer fins 6 to mould and form into frame retainer areas 3. The retainer fins 6 will interact with frame fins 2 which are of a thickness height and angle to bend and form into the PVC retainer under sustained attack to further enhance the gripping mechanism.
