HOUSING SYSTEM USING ERECTABLE SHELTER MODULES
A housing system is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system comprises a plurality of erectable shelter modules, each shelter module comprising two rigid side walls, each rigid side wall being hingedly connected to a rigid roof and a rigid floor via a first hinged connection, wherein each rigid side wall includes a second hinged connection, the first and second hinged connections arranged to permit collapse of each rigid wall so that the shelter modules are collapsible to a substantially flat configuration; at least one shipping container for storing the plurality erectable shelter modules when in a flat configuration; wherein the plurality of shelters modules, when erected from a flat configuration, are arrangeable in at least one row, wherein at least one of the one or more shipping container is locatable at the end of a respective row for association therewith, and wherein at least one of the row located shipping containers is able to deliver one or more services to the plurality of erectable shelter modules of the respective associated row.
