SOLAR PANEL MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR TOWERS
A solar panel mounting system for a tower having three or more legs formed of V or L-shaped steel angle, comprising: a pair of frame connecting members, each frame connecting member adapted to be received within an internally facing channel defined by an apex of a respective steel angle leg such that an outer surface of the frame connecting member bears on both inner walls of the internally facing channel and such that a longitudinal axis of the frame connecting member is aligned with a longitudinal axis of the corresponding leg; a securing arrangement adapted to secure each frame connecting member to the corresponding leg at a desired height; and a pair of supporting members, each supporting member coupled to a respective one of the frame connecting members and having a longitudinal axis that is offset relative to the longitudinal axis of the corresponding frame connecting member, and wherein each supporting member is configured to support a solar panel supporting arm that extends outwardly away from the tower for supporting the one or more solar panels.
