The invention relates to an assembly (1) of at least one primary delimiting element (10) and at least one secondary delimiting element (20) for a gate system, in particular in the access region of an event area, the primary delimiting element (10) comprising a dimensionally stable primary guiding element (11) extending in the access direction (Z), and/or the secondary delimiting element (20) comprising a dimensionally stable secondary guiding element (12) extending in the access direction (Z). At least the primary delimiting element (10) can be transferred reversibly between a use state and a stowed state. In the use state, a passage (5) extending in the access direction (Z) is formed between the primary delimiting element (10) and the secondary delimiting element (20). To widen the passage (5) in the stowed state, at least the primary delimiting element (10), in particular the entire primary delimiting element (10), is stowed.
