Abstract The blow moulded or rotational moulded supports and pods are used to support reinforced steel bars and steel reinforcement meshes, of various sizes, to create the desired steel reinforcement shape before pouring concrete in order to produce reinforced concrete components or structures. The supports and pods are produced from various grades of polyethylene, polypropylene or PVC using the extrusion blow or rotational moulding process. The supports and pods are hollow components of various shapes and can be produced with different wall thickness. The wall thickness of the supports and pods can vary between 0.5mm and 5 mm in order to allow for desired load. The supports and pods can be produced in various sizes to suit the thickness of the reinforced concrete structure. r~q. 4
