Steel box girder reinforcement structure and reinforcement method thereof
The invention discloses a steel box girder reinforcement structure and a reinforcement method thereof. The structure includes a steel box girder, wherein the transverse diaphragms are arranged at intervals and through notches are manufactured on them; arc-shape cutouts are included on both sides inside each notch. A carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) patch is bonded to the surfaces of transverse diaphragms where the arc-shape cutouts are prone to fatigue cracking or already cracked. According to the steel box girder reinforcement structure and the reinforcement method thereof, the area which is prone to fatigue cracking or already cracked is reinforced by CFRP patch, so that the local rigidity of the transverse diaphragm near the arc-shape cutout is obviously improved, initiation of the fatigue crack can be inhibited or delayed or the propagation of existing crack can be effectively inhibited, thus the fatigue life is greatly prolonged.
