The invention relates to a hinge (10) for a furniture door (9), in which a first hinge part (11) is formed with a cassette-shaped housing (111) for integration into a furniture panel, and a second hinge part (12) is designed in the form of a hinge pot (121) to be let into the furniture door (9), wherein the two hinge parts (11, 12) are pivotably connected to one another via a lever mechanism (13). The hinge is distinguished by the fact that the housing (111) of the first hinge part (11) is widened in a front region, in which an opening for the lever mechanism (13) is situated, in relation to a rear region, wherein, in a closed position of the hinge (10), at least part of the lever mechanism (13) occupies a space in the front widened region.
