Secure Scaffolding Connection
Abstract The present invention is broadly directed to a secure scaffolding locking assembly 10 and an associated secure scaffolding connection 22. The locking assembly 10 is used in conjunction with a standard 12 and a ledger 14 including standard collars 16 at predetermined heights along its length, and ledger collars 18 at each of the opposing ends of the ledger 14. The locking assembly 10 generally comprises: 1. a coupling member 20 adapted for releasable connection with at least the standard collar 16 and the ledger collar 18, to form a scaffolding connection 22; 2. a locking element 24 configured to releasably engage the coupling member 20 to prevent its removal from at least the standard collar 16 thereby securely maintaining the scaffolding connection 22. io IsT 2(6 IL t6 Figure ] Figure 2
