Abstract The present invention provides a lockout station (10) comprising a body having at least one storage area (16) for storing of one or more keys (12) of one or more padlocks used for securing one or more energy sources in a shutdown condition, wherein the body is adapted to be displaced between an open condition, where in the one or more keys may be placed in the storage area, and a closed condition wherein the one or more keys are secured within the storage area.
