Abstract A connector 11 is provided for joining an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit. The connector 11 has a body 23 with an inlet port 25 to connect to the inlet conduit and an outlet port 27 to connect to the outlet conduit, with the ports 25 and 27 aligned so that their axial extents are off-set at a junction 29 between the ports 25 and 27. The body 23 has a hinged flap 13 located on the exterior thereof, moveable between a closed position in which the hinged flap 13 covers an aperture 43 communicating with part of a cross-section of said outlet port 27, and an open position in which the aperture 43 is uncovered, providing access to the outlet port27 therethrough. - 7 t3 4-41
