Nano-clay Modified Loess Liner Suitable for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills
A nano-clay modified less liner suitable for municipal solid waste landfills is disclosed in the invention, which includes raw materials of nano-clay and less. The specific preparation and maintenance method are to mix 3%-14% ofnano-clay into less by a dry mass blending method well and keep the water content at 15-17%. Then, covering it with plastic film and placing it in a dry and cool place. After two days, turning the soil samples in sequence to ensure that the modified material is in full contact with the less and moisture. After 5-day maintenance, the modified less is compacted to its maximum dry density. The impermeable effect of the invention is remarkable, which can meet the requirements of landfills for stability and impermeable performance. The invention can be adapted to local conditions and greatly save the cost of artificial impermeable materials. It has very important practical significance for comprehensive utilization of less based on local conditions, reasonable design of impermeable liner of landfill and pollution prevention of soil, surface water and groundwater.
