The disclosed rain gutter bracket comprises a sheet metal form 1 and a bent rod form 2 that are fixed together. The bent rod form passes through the sheet metal form at point 5 such that the vertical section of the bent rod form is fixed to the vertical surface 3 of the bent sheet metal. The bend rod form after passing through the sheet metal form at point 5 is then fixed on the opposite side 4 of the bent sheet metal form. The vertical section of the bent rod form 2 acts as a spacer between the inserted rain gutter and the face of the fascia to which is affixed the gutter bracket. The vertical sheet metal form has a multitude of fixing holes 6 and an elongated hole 7 that permits some adjustment of the gutter bracket in the vertical axis. The fixing holes allow the bracket to be fixed to either timber or metal fascia with a range of fixing means.
