The invention discloses a rural domestic sewage treatment device of constructed wetland microbial fuel cell and treatment method thereof, which comprises a grid, a regulating tank, a water pump, a water inlet pipe, a water collecting pipe, a water outlet pipe, a return pipe, an constructed wetland and a microbial fuel cell, wherein the grid, the regulating tank, the water pump, the water inlet pipe and the constructed wetland are sequentially connected; Domestic sewage first enters the regulating pool through the grille, then enters the device from the water inlet pipe by the water pump, is treated by the constructed wetland and the microbial fuel cell, and then enters the outlet pool through the water collecting pipe, 50% of which is discharged through the water outlet pipe and 50% is returned through the return pipe. The hydraulic retention time of the sewage is 1.5-2.0d, the dissolved oxygen in the cathode area is 1.0-1.5mg/L, and the output current of the device is > 0.96mA. The constructed wetland microbial fuel cell device provided by the invention has simple structure and convenient operation as well as can effectively treat rural domestic sewage.
