A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
A drain assembly 10 is provided for a structure 12. The structure 12 comprises a base 14 defining a through hole. The drain assembly 10 comprises a support member 18 and a spigot conduit 24. The support member 18 is fixable to the base 14 of the structure 12 and comprises an annular flange 20 defining an aperture 22 configured to align with the through hole of base 14. The spigot conduit 24 comprises a tubular body 26 having a first end 28 and a second end 30 defining a longitudinal axis 32 therebetween. The spigot conduit 24 further includes an annular rim 34 extending radially outwardly from the first end 28 of the tubular body 26. Rim 34 is configured to releasably engage with the annular flange 20 of the support member 18 upon extending the second end 30 of the tubular body 26 through the through hole of base 14.
