Production of interlocking concrete paver block containing granite waste
Cement production is responsible for emission of green house gases, highly energy demand and depletion of natural resources. On the other hand, accumulation and disposal of granite waste is creating many environmental problems. Therefore, new strategy is required to reduce the consumption of cement by utilizing waste material (granite waste). The present invention relates with the development of sustainable low cost interlocking concrete paver block. In this development of sustainable paver block, cement is partially replaced with granite waste in powder form. Replacement of cement by the granite waste will be advantageous in solving the problem associated with the cement production and disposal/accumulation of granite waste.
