A method of fixing one or more battens onto a substructure is disclosed. The method comprises providing the substructure. The method also comprises applying an adhesive to either or both of the one or more battens and the substructure. The adhesive can be suitable for adhering each of the one or more battens to the substructure. The method further comprises arranging the one or more battens at the substructure such that the adhesive is arranged between the one or more battens and the substructure.
