The invention relates to a door securing apparatus for a door arrangement, the door arrangement included a pair of spaced doors, an inner door and an outer door, in the usual manner. The inner door has a body and an inner handle, and the outer door also has a body and an inner handle, all fitting within a door frame of a building. The door securing apparatus for the door arrangement includes an outer door engagement part to strongly engage the inner handle of the outer door and an inner door engagement part, connected to the outer door engagement part, which can strongly connect with the inner door and or door frame. An anchor means is also included between the outer door engagement part and the inner door engagement part adapted to tighten the outer door engagement part strongly to the inner door engagement part and maintain in place. In use the inner door and outer door are held strongly physically together when the anchor is in operation to prevent to entry by an unauthorised person, independent of any locking mechanism of the doors.
