A screeding method for screeding an area including a conduit having an opening includes the steps of: arranging at least one screeding guide in an area to be screeded, covering the opening of the conduit with a screed plug or cover, putting a screeding material on the area to be screeded, and levelling a surface of the screeding material using a beam. During the step of levelling, a height of the screeding material is established by aligning the beam with a surface of the at least one screeding guide and a guide associated with the screed plug or the cover.
