A WINDOW CHAIN WINDER An extension-limit device for a window chain winder 100. The window chain winder 100 has a chain 400 that is retractably extendable to control an opening of a window, the chain 400 having an enlarged portion 420. The extension-limit device has a track portion 240 and a restrictor 300. The restrictor 300 has an arm portion. A restricted opening is defined between the arm portion and a wall portion of the chain-extension device or of the window chain winder for allowing a passage of the chain 400 for extension or retraction thereof and for trapping the enlarged portion 420 of the chain to limit an extension of the chain 400. The restrictor 300 is moveable along the track portion 240 to one of a plurality of locations along the track portion 240, each location corresponding to an allowed extension length of the chain 400.
