A multi-axis door hinge system for a container, the system comprising: a door for enclosing a door frame of the container; a first hinge set, comprising one or more 5 hinge(s) configured along a first hinge axis, mounted to or proximate an external side of the door frame; a second hinge set, comprising one or more hinge(s) configured along a second hinge axis, operatively mounted to an internal side of the door such that the door is rotatable about the second hinge axis, wherein the second hinge set is operatively coupled with the first hinge set so that the second hinge set is rotatable 10 about the first hinge axis, thereby allowing both lateral and rotational movements of the door relative to the door frame.
